Glinton, St Benedict

St Benedict’s Church, Glinton is a predominantly 12th century Anglican parish church, The porch and tower are 15th century. Renowned for its soaring 140 ft needle spire that dominates the fenland skyline, it inspired John Clare’s sonnet “Glinton Spire”.
