CHCT Says thank you

Firstly, to all who took part in the 2021 Ride & Stride fundraising event which raised just over £18,000 to help churches of all denominations in the county of Cambridgeshire.

Churches that raised funds this year include:

Barnack, Catworth, Coveney, Dry Drayton, Elsworth, Elton, Fenstanton, Great Paxton, Guilden Morden, Houghton & Wyton, Linton St Mary, Little Thetford, Madingley, March St John, Mepal, Over, St Giles, Somersham, Southoe, Stetchworth, Steeple Morden, Swavesey, Tilbrook, Toft, Whittlesey, Willingham and several Cambridge churches.

Great Paxton topped the leader board by raising the magnificent sum of £1640 for CHCT thanks to the efforts of Graham Bevan and Alasdair Kennedy.

Secondly to all sponsors – without your sponsorship there would be nothing to celebrate and the Trust would not be able to help as much as they do with much-needed grants/loans to churches that applied for funding in 2021.

Thirdly to those churches which opened their doors to this year’s Riders and Striders and made them welcome – not an easy thing to do in light of Covid19.
