West tower and Chancel are early 13th century whilst the nave, aisles and south porch are mid 15th century. The north porch is 16th century. There were restorations of the nave roof, (1770-4) and the north aisle windows in 1899. Go inside to see the East Window designed by John Piper and look out for the ‘resurrection’ monument to Richard and Sir Thomas Benet of the later 17th cent, an unusually late date for this type of monument, in the north chancel. The organ at the west end was added in 1992.
